How to create Workspace in Hoicko.com?

The Hoicko Workspace:

Workspaces are found at the top of the Hoicko Hierarchy. A workspace is the home of tasks, boards, folders, and views. You can create or join as many Workspaces as you like, and you can switch between them using the menu.

Create A New Workspace

A Workspace is a collection of boards, in a simple way workspace is the house where you can store your data on Board. Show how to create, edit and delete the workspace. 

1. Click on the orange Icon of the workspace to go to the Workspace section

2. Click on the "+ Add Workspace "

3. Add New Workspace Name

Write the workspace name in the open popup and click on OK.

Once you have created the workspace it will show in the workspace section.
You can find it out by its name.

Once you create a workspace you can share it with your member and create boards to help keep things organized. There is no limit on the amount of Workspaces that can be created! But the limited workspace is more helpful to organize work.

An Admin have the complete rights to add, edit, and remove board form the workspace and also the workspace creater can make a member to admin.


Managing Workspace

Organize your workspace, after creating the workspace there are many things to do such as adding a Display Picture, editing the workspace name, adding workspace, adding members, and Teams.

How to manage the workspace?

Once you have created the workspace you can manage it by "Manage Workspace"

  1. Change the Logo and Display the picture Color

    For the change in the workspace Display picture, you can click on the workspace logo and change the Workspace logo and color and click on Submit.
  2. Change Workspace Name

    For the change in the workspace name, you can click on the current workspace name and change the Workspace Name. and click on Submit.

     

  3. Board Information

    To know more about the create board in the workspace, click on any of the Boards you will drill down to the board. Also, the user can add a Description of the workspace, It helps to know more about the purpose of creating a workspace and which department it is connected with.

    (i) Add Member to the workspace

    Make Admin or keep a member as the owner decide

    An admin can add multiple members at the same time also admin can add a team also.

    when clicking on the crown the person becomes co-admin and has all access to the workspace.

    (iv) Remove from Admin

    When you click on the green crown that person remove from admin and becomes a member.

    (v)Remove member from workspace

    Click on the X sign to remove a person from the workspace and all Boards which are shared with that person, will disappear.

     

Delete Workspace

Deleting a workspace can be done from the Workspace homepage. From there, click on the three-dot-menu on the top right corner of the page and select "Delete workspace"

Please confirm deleting the workspace, and click OK

Restriction on Workspace

By default, all team members can create a workspace. However, admins of an Enterprise plan can also manage who is able to create workspaces, allowing an extra level of control. This can be done by clicking on your profile picture in the bottom left of your screen, then "Admin".
