How to use Automation Feature

Automation:

Automation frees up time for your firm to concentrate on its main goals by reducing time, effort, and expense while lowering manual errors. It is possible to finish repetitive chores more quickly. Because each operation is completed precisely and without human error, automating procedures assures high-quality output.

Let's learn how to create automation in hoicko.com

1.      log in to Hoicko Account,

2.      Go to the workspace and select a board to which you want to add automation,

3.       Click on the 3 dots placed near the subtask tab and select automation from the given options,

4.      Here you can see Hoicko gives you 3 types of automation to make your workflow more agile and easy.

Types of Automation:

(a.)  Normal automation: It is just simple automation in which you can set a condition to trigger and when the condition is triggered, then the action occurs and this info you can get on email or your registered WhatsApp number.  

(b.)  Recurring Automation: In our office, where we are always innovating and expanding, there are some tasks, boards, and reminders that must be repeated every day, week, or month. Recurring automation is the feature that can improve your workflow for these recurring tasks.

(c.)   Date Automation: You can specify a pre- or post-deadline reminder in this automation before or after the task submission date.


Steps for creating Normal Automation:


Click on three dots appears at the right corner, and a new wall appears with the option of selecting Automations.

 (a.) Normal automation - It is just simple automation in which you can set a condition to trigger and when the condition is triggered, then the action occurs and this info you can get on email or your registered WhatsApp number.  

A new window appears as Normal automation, where you have to enter all your details.

You have to enter your Normal automation title and select your notification type.

Select your condition “WHEN THIS HAPPENS”, according to this you have to select the action.

Select your condition according to your requirements.  

For example, You have the following options to change the status according to your requirements.

When you have selected the status change option, now you have to fill ‘field’, then select your working status value and select filter if you want.

Then, select action according to your status.

Then click on “save.” In this way, your Normal automation is created.


Steps for creating Recurring Automation:

1. Log into the hoick account.

2. Go to the workspace and select a board to which you want to add automation.

4. Select the recurring automation Write the title of your automation.

5. Choose the trigger- "When This Happened"

Set the time based on daily or weekly or monthly. (what time your automation should be triggered)

6. Apply the filter according to your requirement.

When the condition is triggered then what action do you want to perform

1. Go to "the then do this action" section

2. You can select the action you want to perform after triggering the task.

1. Log into your hoick account.

2. Go to the workspace and select a board to which you want to add automation.

3. Click on the 3 dots placed near the subtask tab and select automation from the given options.

4. Select the Date automation and write the title of your automation.

5. Choose the trigger- "When This Happened"

Select condition according to the date option given on the board- Send notification "Date Arrives" and "Date Passed"

Then Select days how many days before or after you want to send a notification

6. Apply the filter according to your requirement.

When the condition is triggered then what action do you want to perform

1. Go to the "then do this action" section

2. When your action takes place you can set a notification that has been sent to the person.
