How to use Board Feature

Board Feature:

A lot of items in a group can get a little bit intimidating. You can use the hoicko board features to find what you're seeking for more quickly!
Grouping, sorting, filtering, column visibility, and more are the way to get data. It is important to understand that these operations perform a comparison/combination between the results of the evaluation of the used expression.

1. Group By: 

We can get data by group, you have to select column name to press your information.

2. Filter: 

You can filter your data by column name and also by "Show Completed" and "Show Discard.

Also, the Advanced Filter option can help you to get data by Column, Operator, and Value which helps you to get more filtered data.

 3. Sorting:  

Sort data of columns in ascending or descending.

   4. Column Visibility:

You can hide or unhide those columns which are not in use that time or you don't want to show other by Column Visibility.

 5. Chat: 

Board chat uses a clean and simple ​​UI to make chatting familiar and easy for anyone to use. This feature show above your board data in between column visibility and subtask. We can chat with our team regarding the overall task and project.









6. Subtask: 

Better manage your task with subtask, when a task is broken down into smaller subtasks, it can be carried to its final result with greater ease and efficiency, tasks to your team, and have them completed fast and efficiently.
You can create subtask for 4 levels.
1. Go to the row, click on the sub task icon next to the title column’s row.
2. Click on the subtask icon and Write the subtask title.
3. You can add multiple subtask in main task row.

Also you can add subtask in subtask, for 4 levels,

1.      Create a subtask, and click on the subtask icon in the subtask row.

2.      Write the title and repeat the process for making subtask of subtask.

3.      You can create 3 level of subtask in a main task row

More Option for BOARD:

  1. Board Config- Hoicko has introduced a new and special function so that you can provide your team member only their task since it is not required for you to see the task of all the team members, and you do not want your team members to see any other task. it is the board config. 

Hoicko can config board  in 2 types-

·         Only Me- Only those individuals will be able to see the row of that board whose names are in the Person column of the board, which minimizes the work of the board member.

·         Private View- Only the board owner can see the board data but other people can see only their named row of the board.

2. Board Activity- After creating a board, entering, editing, and deleting multiple data. Sometimes we forget what we have done on our board or if someone has tampered with the board. To know all the things, when, and what we have done on the board, we can see all on the Board Activity feature

How to check activities you did on board.

a)      Go to the Board Click on the 3 dots next to the subtask

b)     A menu opened click on the “Board Activity”

c)      You will see the all the worked you have done on the board. But you cannot edit in it.

3. Board Form- “forms” is web pages that have various input fields to collect data. And if required leave for the vacation? Fill out a form! Looking to schedule an appointment at the Apple store? Fill out a form!

Hoicko is obsessed with saving your time by Form; you can create meaningful data for actionable Items without lifting a finger.

1.      Form can be added to any project by clicking on the 3 dots near to subtask option.

2.      A list of the option appears

3.      Click on the Board Form and a new window opens

4.      Click on the + icon placed

5.      A form layout appears

  Fill the required details:

a)      Title - Form title shown as header tag

b)      Description - Write a description of the form

c)      Subject - when the Form has been submitted what subject you want to show as a push notification

d)      Message - Message you want to show below the Subject

e)      Confirm Message - "same as Message"

f)       Redirect URL - after submitting the form select A URL where you want to move your client or person.

g)      Logo- Add a logo for the form

Hoicko gives you 3 options in the form

1. Create- You can just create a form and once the form has been submitted the data is shown on the Board. For submitting the form you need to share the link of the board same as the google form.

2. Edit - You can change and edit the board data through the form, without moving to the board

3. Share - You can share the board data only in read-only form and also can apply filter and sorting.

Select entities, placed on the left sidebar. Click on the entities which you want to show on the form.

·         For the mandatory option - Click on the check box on the entities which you have selected in the form.

·         Rearrangement - You can rearrange the entities by simple drag and dropping.

·         Remove - By clicking on the delete on the entities you can remove the field.

You can see created form in the Home screen menu. Click on it and you can see the form on it. You can edit, generate link, share form and delete form here.
